Massage Association
The International Massage Association, the first division of the
IMA Group, holds as its purpose unification of all massage practitioners
into one positive force committed to relaxing, destressing and
healing the world. Our goal is to network and insure the massage
community at a reasonable cost. Over 26,000 members have joined
the IMA Group since it was founded only five years ago. Due to
the IMAs wonderful success in serving the massage industry, the
IMA Group was formed, and nine additional alternative health associations
were founded.
Touch
Research Institutes-Univ of Miami
The Touch Research Institutes are dedicated to scientifically
demonstrating the benefits of touch therapy and establishing its
credibility with the medical community. TRI has studied the effects
of massage therapy at all stages of life, from newborns to senior
citizens. From these studies TRI has shown that touch therapy
has many beneficial effects on human well-being.

covering the art and science of massage, bodywork and related
healing arts. Its purpose is to spread the good word about the
